In this series of bowls I introduce, for the first time, a new material to the wood in the form of granulated coloured glass. The coloured glass is combined with a clear resin and inlaid in a groove around the bowl. I chose vibrant colours to contrast the natural tone of the wood. Designed with functionality and everyday use in mind. Each bowl is finely crafted from locally sourced wind felled trees and is as individual as you are. Finished to a silky smooth texture with vivid grain patterns and Simple elegance, it will look stunning brimming with salad leaves or fresh fruit. Each bowl is one of a kind. Size: 11″x4″ (280mm X 100mm) Wood care: After use, wipe clean with a damp cloth and leave to dry. To keep the wood looking its best, occasionally wipe with liquid paraffin, available in most pharmacy’s. Unsuitable for soaking, dishwasher or microwave. Decaying fruit may damage the wood.
