Description Blown SW5 by &Tradition The &Tradition Blown ceiling light is a variant on the original Blown pendant, removing the cable but retaining all of the unique design elements which made its predecessor so special. When conceiving of Blown, designer Samuel Wilkinson drew inspiration from a wide variety of objects both natural and manufactured. From exploring the ways in which light is reflected, diffused, and refracted by lighthouses, lenses, and mirrored bottles, to observing the patterns of seed distribution in berries. Wilkinson has left no stone unturned on his quest to ‘add a fresh dynamic’ to the form and function of ceiling lights. The result was the distinctive quilted design of Blown’s shade, a precisely constructed diamond pattern which, when lit up, is projected onto the walls, adding a degree of visual interest to any living room, bedroom, restaurant, or hotel lobby. The Blown SW5 ceiling lamp is available in transparent silver lustre which emphasises the shade’s diamond pattern and provides an exposed glow.
