Description Margaret Howell Type 75 Floor Lamp by Anglepoise After the successful 2012 release of the Yellow Ochre Edition of the Type 75 floor lampthe designer Margaret Howell has collaborated with Sir Kenneth Grange and Anglepoise to produce a small collection of the Anglepoise Type 75 lamps that are true to her aesthetic. Margaret Howell first started as a men’s clothes designer, putting quality, timelessness and functionality at the forefront of her design whilst still maintaining a modern and fresh look. Her work has since expanded to women’s clothing and now to lighting design. Her aesthetic fits in perfectly with Anglepoise as the Type 75 collectionalso marries the idea of timelessness and modernity in their design. After salvaging an old 1970s Anglepoise lamp, Howell colour-matched the lamp to produce the colour Yellow Ochre, which after huge success led her to develop the Sienna and Saxon Blue colours. Sitting wonderfully in both domestic and professional settings this floor lamp has a directional and movable shade and arm to cast a good light that works well for reading or as a lounge light.
