This lamp is hand crafted in the heart of the Welsh coal field by the sons and daughters of miners. It is made of brass and designed for use as an ornamental lamp only. It does not contain the filters and seals contained in the genuine underground models. Each lamp comes in an attractive presentation tube with a brief history and instructions for use. It burns lamp oil (kerosene), weighs more than 2.2 pounds, is 9“ high and 3.5“ in diameter.
