The Megabass Dog-X Diamante Silent, is a large body, round profiled, 120mm, 25gram, floating, pencil bait fishing lure that is designed specifically for topwater action. The Dog-X Diamante can be easily made to skim the water’s surface to swim from left to right on a on a crank-pause-crank retrieve pattern. Once retrieving is paused, the lure will sit with a third of its body, prominently out of the water, with its tail pointing downwards as a result of a fixed internal balancer that is positioned about an inch from its tail. Besides making it easy for the angler to sight the location of the lure, it allows for both the belly and tail trebles to be presented enticingly to its target, which often, will elicit a strike when the lure comes to a pause. Given its large profile, the Dog-X Diamante is highly buoyant, making it versatile to be worked in both calm and choppy conditions.
