The Popchinko from XORUS is a noisy lure where most of the weight is concentrated in the rear part of the lure. When it is at rest, it sticks its head out of the water nicely. This low centre of gravity gives the lure a high degree of stability, allowing you to reach long distances while casting. The Popchinko can be used as a popper or as a stickbait with the famous ‘walk the dog’ action. By animating the Popchinko low and speeding up the movement, you can also make it go sub-surface, which can make a difference on a day when the fish refuses to break through the surface.
